I read something somewhere about fear of rejection and it said something like "The fear of rejection is worse then rejection."

I feel like you have to get used to rejection to be successful in the world. Whether it be dating or just life in general.

You have to inspire yourself. Just close your eyes, plug your nose, and do a cannonball like it's the first time you've ever jumped into a cold lake. After a moment the cold water feels warmer than the air did.

Instead of relying on patterns in which your brain deciphers into meaningful signal to which you can feel a temporary sense of 'inspiration' why don't you reconfigure your internal nerve wiring by slowly doing activities such as mental ones or physical, to which your brain slowly conforms and reconfigures to. Or just man the fuck up, and realize that they are simply another human being made out of organs, nerves, and other biological substances.
