Hey seddit. This is my first post here, but I have been reading it daily for about a month or two now. I've read all the FAQs and also watched a few videos on PU and have begun approaching more people, generally one or so a day. I've been making some great strides and have gained a good bit of confidence. I am still working on the kino a bit, I kind of can't get passed a few touches on the arm or the occasional back touch when standing by them.

What I've discovered, however, is that I tend to resort back to "interview questions," which I then turn into material I can use in a story or make a joke of. When I do this, I kind of get stuck trying to express my intentions as more than just a casual conversation. While I am viewing the experience as just that, I'd also like to make it clear that I am looking at them as a potential partner, rather than just a fellow conversationalist. The problem is, though, that I am not sure how to go about doing this, or what to say. I do not know of how to show that, either.

Also, I am talking, generally, about approaching someone in class, or at a cafe, or something where my intentions may not be a clear-cut, rather than at a bar. While I also struggle with that in a bar setting, I seem to think it would be a little more obvious at that point, and wouldn't require as much effort to seem less like simply an outgoing guy.

Do you guys have any advice? How can I better express some IOIs, clearly, and flirt correctly?

(Also, I know that this sounds like I am jumping a bit--but I am thinking of this as, also, beyond that initial stage, perhaps when I've gotten a number and we are meeting for coffee, or something. What can I do or say that can be used to differentiate myself from someone trying to be a friend?)
