as a chick I can tell you that "I have a boyfriend" = not interested. and If she says this and is still flirting with you then she's a hoe who is cheating on her boyfriend.. if that's your game and you wanna hit it then that's up to you, but those girls are bad news.

Three cases:

1) She says it at the beginning, it means she is disinterested.

2) She is friendly but not flirting. You can still give an alpha response like "I don't care" or "So does my girlfriend". You two can still be friends if you really want that.

3) She is flirting with you. Then it is definitely a shit test and you should give your best alpha response. Yours is rather a beta response because you allow her to take control.

Just treat it as a shit test but dont go for it if they seriously do, it ends up coming down to your own personal morals. As for me I would only be ok with someone going out with me if they were in a relationship, if it was really bad and ending asap.
