Went dancing, 2nd time. I enjoy dancing, but am retarded about human interaction.

Brunette in a corset made eye contact from across the floor. It was packed, though. A few minutes later, and she was dancing next to me. Ok! I took her wrist and guided her hand in for a handshake while we were moving. She grinned like a fool, so I smiled back. We danced for a bit. I put my hand on her hip; she reciprocated almost immediately.

She kept covering her mouth with her hands. I moved in and asked her if she was shy and she nodded.

The neg, "I thought that was some new dance technique." Then I started dancing while covering my face with my hands.

"Are you mocking me?!" (great reaction, warm, yet surprised)

"A little bit." We danced into another song, some light kino and avoiding getting stepped on by other dancers. She was still grinning and hiding.

Then I screwed up. "It's a nice smile, you don't need to cover it."

She bolted.

My interpretation: she was already so embarrassed to be dancing with this random dude in the club that, when i said something complimentary, it overwhelmed her. The negs weren't rude. Rather, they helped her stay attracted without feeling like a slut.

Bonus failure, as soon as I started with chick #1, chick #2 started lookin at me like "hey, where you been?" When #1 bolted, #2 stayed for about 30 seconds. I didn't make a move, and #2 faded out, too.

No big deal. Although oneitis was tempting, I was there to dance.

it was educational. Real world feedback is fantastic, and satisfying.

Thanks, seddit. Any idea how to improve this game? I'm thinking I should have avoided the verbal qualification, and allowed the kino to qualify her, meanwhile, keeping up the verbal negs to maintain the comfort level.
