In high school I was shy and timid. I had a pizza face, and it made me insecure and afraid to approach not only girls, but I was afraid to make friends too. I only had 3 friends in high school. I only dated one girl in high school, for only two weeks until she cheated on me and dumped me, which made me even more insecure.

2 years later, I am a completely different person thanks to Seddit. Today I went to a social gathering. Once the dinner started and the food was served, I sat at a table with a girl who I had a few conversations with previously. I am a talented writer, and she works for the newspaper, so she is helping me get a job. I went up to her and very boldly said "I think you are very beautiful. Would you like to go on a date with me?" And she said yes! But it doesn't end there. I went up to another cute girl later on that night and said the same thing. And she said yes too! I got both of their numbers. The girl I asked out first gave me her home phone number. I'm not sure what that means, but I'm not going to overthink it. She probably doesn't want to give her number out to people who she doesn't know very well. Girl #2 gave me her cell though and I texted her just barely. Thanks Seddit for helping me talk to girls with confidence. In high school I would have never even dreamed of walking up to a cute girl and saying "I think you are very beautiful. Would you like to go on a date with me?" but after studying the material on this subreddit I am a whole new person. And I am pretty damn proud of myself!
