It depends on how attracted the girl you're talking to already is.

Like, if a girl has had a crush on you for months or if the girl is just in the mood to get fucked and she sees you and thinks that she'd love to get pounded by you then she will actually help you make conversation with her or she'll just do most of the talking, or she won't talk that much and just escalate.

But lets say you start off pretty neutral.

Maybe she thinks you're interesting but there are no really strong feelings or urges yet.

Yeah, you're pretty much screwed if you can't make conversation because here's the thing.....women are actually pretty shitty at making conversation with strangers, especially in a dating context.

That's generally speaking. Of course, there are some who are good at doing that but mostly they aren't.

It might be surprising seeing as how women are the ones who are known to talk a lot but here's the thing....they only talk a lot when they're already comfortable talking to a person but most of them don't know how to lead it to that point.

Why?

Because the pressure is rarely on them to approach guys and build conversations with them.

Men are the ones who do the approaching and men are the ones who need to worry about how to break the ice.

So more men are better at making conversation with women we don't know than the other way around.

So if you don't get good at that, and she isn't good at that, nor does she feel like she even needs to try, then things just aren't gonna go anywhere between you and her.

It won't even be so much of an issue of attraction, its just that you both won't know what to do.

You might be wondering then why the girl who is really attracted to you would be able to help you make conversation or just do most of the talking if they're not good at doing that with someone they don't know that well.

Its because they think you're worth the risk of embarrassing themselves because they're already very attracted to you so they're just gonna go for it anyway.

In that situation, she will feel like she needs to try.

So you have 2 choices, get good at conversation or become more attractive.

The more you talk to the easeir it gets.If your not a good talker be a good listener. Ask a lot of questions and rember what she says. Bring back up what she said and make littile jokes here and their. Youll be golden. I went from not being able to talk to girls to getting multiple dates every week. Its not hard just a skill you have to learn.

Shitty dad jokes work for me. Nearly every time. I work in a fem dominated workplace 85% fems and nearly all of them strike up a conversation with me after slowly spreading around jokes and funny stories. Everyone loves a laugh, women especially in a date setting need that laugh to break the ice. Tell her a horror story from when you were 8 and nearly killed yourself or sibling doing dumb shit. If you have a good memory try telling a storied joke that she will believe until the punchline. PM me if you want some.

First and foremost start leading a better and more fun life. Practice sociallising with lots of people it will get easier with time.

Holding conversations are like exercises in the gym. You have to build endurance and stamina to do it. The more you do, the easier it gets. The best thing to do is talk to people more often, I mean people you aren't attracted to. This way you can go practice and exposure. Good luck!

If you can write this post you can learn to hold a conversation. Just relax.

Remember about "awkward pauses" that most of the awkwardness comes from your feeling of it. Hollywood doesn't include pauses for time and budget but real conversations will have pauses, don't rush to say something if you don't have something that needs to be said yet.
