What is it mean when a girl looks at you, then when you look back she looks away, Versus a girl that keeps looking at you? I mean she doesn't look away.

As a shy girl, I have looked at guys and then they look up and I look away because I’m embarrassed I got caught looking. I would say 8x out of 10 they’re interested but shy. Also, check behind you to ensure there’s not a clock on the wall lol. I have stared at the clock and people just happen to be in my line of view.

Both usually mean she's somewhat interested. In most cases, if you don't approach confidently it doesn't matter anyway. Different girls will react differently but it's up to you to take it somewhere.

Most likely both are IOIs. The second one is a very strong IOI.

The first one could be just a casual glance, but probably is an IOI.

Hate to burst your bubble but it doesn't mean very much at all. People look at other people. Best case it means you won't get blown out on open if she was making strong eye contact (since that would be rude).

Dudes who don't approach obsess over random looks because then they can lead a fantasy life where every girl that looks at them was totally down to bang if they'd have just approached. Of course that begs the question why don't they approach if looks are so meaningful? Because then they'd have to admit it was all a world of spun glass and they aren't 20 mins away from living out the intro to their favorite porno every time they set foot in the grocery store.

I'm not trying to be discouraging here. This cuts the other way too. You could be totally sure off of body language and looks of disgust that a woman hates your guts, but have the approach go beautifully smooth.

Basically looks are just a low powered instrument for measuring a girls attraction. A random look is like whatever telescope Galileo had while an approach of any decent length is the Hubble Space Telescope.
