go to different places. Try a library, a book club, or any other sort of fan gathering for something. An introvert is always much easier to get talking when they are somewhere that resembles their comfort zone.

Meetup.com! Introverts love targeted activities. I (introverted girl) go to a Chinese language meetup and pretty much 80% of those who show up are straight-up introverts. It's great. And then we hang out and talk for 3 hours.

Coffeeshops also work. Start conversations about books, but don't push it more than a couple minutes if she seems annoyed. If it's an interesting conversation, she'll hold up her end fine.

Go to performances or shows or museums, and casually comment on the exhibit to the person next to you.

I think the key with introverts is keeping the conversation targeted to some mutually interesting topic until you've established a comfortable rapport. Only THEN should you introduce yourself and go for friendly chit-chat. Seriously. Topical conversation first. Name later.

The easy answer is "where introverts are". If you were an introvert wherr would you go to spend time? That said, you've pretty much said "no" to everything. If your logistical situation means you cannot go to any of the places known to have introverts, guess what. You're probably not going to meet any.

My solution to this has always been to try and have a huge social group. It's kind of ironic, but to meet a good number of introverted girls I think you have to be crazy extroverted. Know a lot of people that are in disconnected social groups, go to a lot of house parties and social events, and get face time with a lot of female friends.

Introverted girls tend to go with their friends to things a lot more than to go out on their own. They also tend to avoid clubs and bars if they can. The more introverted they are, the smaller their immediate social circle is going to be. That means that you have to start breaking into a ton of small social circles and be the unifying force between them. So go make friends with a ton of cool girls.

If you've got a house you can throw parties at, that's ideal. Just start inviting all the people that you know who are connecting you to all these little groups of people, tell them to bring their friends with them. This is great, because you're suddenly the one that everybody at the party knows each other through. You're the big connector. Introduce people to each other, talk to everybody, find the single introverted ladies and get their numbers. Way easier to do if they're already in your house.

Then you have to do it over and over again, and keep breaking into new social groups. Since introverted people are less likely to come out, you have to do a lot more sifting and winnowing to find them.

It does not sound like you travel a lot. But just in case, introverts need to travel too. You can often find them with a really good book on trains or planes.
