Great, screening is an important topic.

What do you mean by essential to logistics? When we screen for logistics its usually for same day pulls. is that what you are trying to do? A web search can get you the 3 or 4 questions people use to screen for same day sex.

Let's still with personal qualities. Depends on what qualities they are.

I'm only taking the OPs response (and only if he answers it all definitely and completely, so not 2 or 4 must haves, and not Serious AND Casual) but it should give people an idea where I am going with this.

Edit: Judgmental is your fear, eh? It's in how you screen. The difference between "What are your favorite cuisines?" and "You're not a picky eater, right?" But, high value men have standards, so they screen.

Keep in mind that I don't know what many of those qualities mean to you (they are subjective) but that's fine. I have no idea what true to themselves mean to you but you don't need to answer since I'm moving on.

A lot of those are things you know just by talking to them. They are either witty and funny or crude...or not and normal conversation can tell you that. I would say that same for intellectually matched, but depending on what you mean by this, you may ask them questions about intellectual interests. Skills and interests (ie, Do you enjoy cooking? Do you have pets? What are your favorite movies?), you can ask. Interests, you can also tell them yours and see what they reply with. As them about their passions and tell them yours.

Your independent (live their own life) one isn't clear (you contradict yourself) but that's fine...I don't need it in my example.

Ok, so, for judgmental...stop qualifying yourself to us. I didn't ask you what other people like or don't like.

Ok, so, judgemental and selfish. You can't ask someone if they are either of these (they may lie) but you can tell stories and see how they react. You could tell a story of something relevant to that quality that happened to a friend (this way it doesn't seem like you have an issue) or get one from the news and see how they react. People do this for "loyal" as well. Edit: See the book recommendations at the end so you can better read her when she responds.

Oh, sometimes you have friends in common so can ask them....or you can get info on web searching. Oh, she has a cat...now I don't have to ask.

So, to recap, depending on what you are screening for, sometimes you ask, sometimes you tell them what your standard is, sometimes you can tell in communicating with them, and sometimes you tell them (or show them) a story to see their reaction. You communicate and subcommunicate what you want and screen them as well, as in my article.

This isn't all first meeting or first date stuff either and some of it comes out over time.
