when i first started reading, my first guess would be that you need to develop better rapport and comfort when you first meet. maybe some of your numbers are just soft. you dont have to get into seduction after just meeting the person, and depending on where you met them it could even seem kind of awkward and weird, unless you have really tight game, but building strong comfort is doable and imo pretty important in getting a hard number. having said that i'm surprised that you weren't able to get a second meet after being able to bounce to a another venue and get food and everything. it seems like a lot of comfort could have been built during that time. i think that taking her to your apt to show your dog jumping through hoops is a great idea, because everyone loves animals, especially if it does something entertaining like your does, and then in the comfort of your apartment it would be a lot easier to transition into seduction if the ioi's are there.

mystery advises against talking for a long time on the phone. just keep it short, simple and to the point. he says about five minutes is a good length of time. maybe youre over-thinking what youre gonna say over the phone. i'm no master, but hope i could help.

If they are ever riding with you then you could stop by your house if it's on the way and say you forgot something, get out of the car and come back to it after taking a few steps and excuse yourself for being so rude and tell her that she should come wait in the kitchen and you'll get her a drink or something.

Do this:

Have her pick you up at your apartment. Give her a big hug, and a kiss if possible, or at least on the cheek. Invite her in for a minute while you find your keys, get your jacket, etc. Take your car to a bar for a drink. Have one or two drinks and kino escalate. You should be getting kisses/makeouts at the bar. Bounce. Keep Escalating. Return to your apartment (fine, invite her in to meet your dog, or see your art, or watch a movie, whatever) and just enter the apartment, don't linger at the door or wait for her or ask her in, etc. She'll follow.

By meeting at your apartment and inviting her in she will be acclimated to your place, and makes getting her back there far easier (no weird surprises for her.) By taking one car you have a great reason to come back to your place.

Don't do AFC dates like Dinner or Coffee, waste of time and money. Never, ever wait until you're on the doorstep to kiss her, or until the end of the date. If you haven't kissed her/made out and the date ends you have run out of time and lost.
