I've been developing my charisma over some time now, but touching and escalation is my sticking point. It isn't intuitive for me, so tell me: what and when is considered effective in demonstrating interest past the initial introduction and upper arm touching?

I realize this is a basic question, but my involvement in the community has up to now been largely (and successfully) inner game. i'm trying to get back into the pickup aspect of it now.
