This is great advice and the article had a great anecdote by the girl. I often wondered why any girl I really liked and took on a "date" (like dinner or coffee) and saw as a "date" would fizzle out pretty quickly, while girls I sorta dismissed initially and just saw around at shows or grabbed a drink with are the ones who hit me up to hang out all the time or are like straight up like "I'll suck yo dick!" I guess I was so afraid of being put in the friend zone that I would put up a totally different front for people I found really attractive, which totally didn't work. People remember what they feel from good experiences or what tingly feeling they get from being around you, not every step of some storybook romance.

Now I'm trying to take the opposite approach, especially if it's someone I find really attractive... let's hang out when we can both find something we both like, not just forced socialization at a dinner table.

Can somebody post some tips on what to do when you feel like doing something stupid (ie message the girl or something), what to do to keep your mind off stupid things like that for the 3 days or so of ideal refractory period =)

Or how do you cope with the inevitable aww I wish I could message her feeling. Sheer cold turkey self control is just pure torture, right?
