Don't listen to these other guys. You have the right basic idea here. I wouldn't go get some more beef jerky though. I'd just walk back up and be like "So yeah that beef jerky was terrible." Then I'd ask how her night was going and ask her out for drinks later that week. The important part is to get down to business when you go back. Don't try to have another conversation, just get the digits and set up a date.

Don't bring props. Props mean you went to lengths for this girl. You don't even know her, why would you bring her gifts?

If you want to sleep with her: Never give gifts to girls you don't know. Never execute elaborate plans for girls you don't know. Never take girls you don't know on expensive and complicated dates. Never go out of your way to do something for a girl you don't know.

You can jokingly say, "That beef jerky was terrible. I blame you. How's it going?" and go from there. You should be laughing about it, of course. It's not a serious accusation, it's just a "make her laugh" kind of comment. A laughing girl is a sexy girl...you should be doing all this stuff for your own amusement, not to impress her.

This sounds like entirely too much work. Why go through all the trouble with the jerky when you could just build a little rapport and ask her out the first time?

The whole thing comes off a little too tryhard to me, and I think most girls would pick up on that. "Oh this guy is putting on an act to get in my pants." I mean, if you had a legitimate reason to leave the conversation other than to play a game with her it might make more sense. Maybe I'm being a little too cynical here, but you did miss the opportunity.

Oh well, there's a chance you'll see her again, and if not I'm sure you've got other girls and other shit going on in life anyway.

A buddy of me tries the same thing, and gets the same results. He hit it off with the girl very well. She was showing IOIs left and right. He tried the Wygants method. Her friends pulled her out to another party. Now he has to patrol the area in hope to run into girl.

To avoid these situation, you need to make sure that she will be there when you return. If there is a chance that she might be bouncing while you are gone. You better get her number before leaving or else this is going to happen.

It sounds like your game need a little more work. If you're looking for her number you should just make conversation her while you're there the first time. Its pretty creepy to return later especially when you're going to criticize her taste in beef jerky.

Wygant would have gotten her number before walking away. The "beef jerky" line you're planning is definitely try-too-hard, something I might have done myself when I was a young AFC.

Here's the deal. You need to be having solid conversations with everyone you meet. That way, when you meet a girl you're attracted to, it;s just more of the same—you're having a conversation with a new person. But the difference is that you get the digits before you break off.

How to get phone numbers is a solved problem, one that's been discussed over and over again. Work on your basics and the next time you meet a cute checkout clerk your response will be effective and automatic.
