How do I turn intimidation into attraction?

Smile and joke more. It's definitely not a horrible place to be...being intimidated by you is better than considering you a beta right off the bat. And her thinking she got the 'nice' side out of someone she's intimidated by is a powerful thing.

Don't be afraid to call her out either. Eye contact, smile. "Why are you so nervous? I don't bite."

I have this too. Upvote because I hope to see some interesting ideas shared.

I'm often called "intense", and because I'm moderately successful (I own a controlling share in a mid-sized company) when I'm introduced IRL I often find out much much later that some women I was introduced to was interested in me but didn't even have the courage to match eye contact. What to do?

I used to get called this all the time, mostly by women who worked with me. Being in stuffy office environments, doing lots of presentations, I think I was carrying some of that office machismo into the out-of-hours time.

I just make a conscious effort to be funnier and more laid back in social settings. When I first meet someone, I just make sure I give off a very fun, entertaining vibe. I stay away from topics that trigger debates, because if it's something I'm passionate about and the person is just wrong, it's really hard to resist debating them, which oftens brings out my intimidating side.

No longer working in an office environment helps a lot too. I used to be in pretty senior positions, so I tended to be really guarded if I was in a social setting where anyone I knew professionally was present. Now I work for myself, so I don't have that issue at all anymore.

Make fun of yourself. :D Joke around alot! it really shows that you're very loose person. Make fun of yourself where it's kinda dorky (not too much)

I'm willing to bet that one "D'aww..." moment is all you need to change an early impression like that.
