I keep hearing that one of the best ways to develop your game is to talk with and observe guys who really know what they're doing. So how exactly does one go about finding those guys? I live in LA so it shouldn't be difficult, but I'm not friends with anyone I consider particularly skilled at this, and I figure most of the top acts are going to charge me big. How does one go about getting some real field observation?
