Take dance classes! It's a GREAT place to meet women and it helps you on the dance floor. Salsa, swing, blues, hiphop. They don't really teach you much about club dancing, but if you have a solid foundation in a couple of these you'll know enough to fake it with just about any music. Also, taking one of the girls you meet in these classes with you as your wingman is EXCELLENT social proof. You'll know how to play off each other and you'll both look damn good on the dance floor. It doesn't take much to wow a crowd in most pubs, Just a partner who is comfortable with you. After that, most girls will be open to letting you do whatever you want on the dance floor. The real problem becomes holding their attention when the music stops.

The best way to get better at dancing is to drink more!! Well... it doesn't make you better. it just makes you think that you're better, which is what matters, really.

A friend of a friend, who happened to be a stripper, actually slapped me for getting too into my dancing while she was giving me instructions. I hate the top 40 type music, and can only tolerate some techno, so it was a bad deal to begin with. Anyway, just try to be loose, but don't try to over do it or thing too much. Otherwise, some bitch may hit you for trying too hard.
