This is a continuation of this #-close: http://redd.it/fwdeg

Don't over text; lead I set up the day two with a "Meet me at X spot on X day at X time." It worked wonderfully. A couple hours before we were going to meet for light appetizers at night I text her and say I'll see her at X spot. She says, yep see you then.

45 minutes late... At about five minutes past our meeting time she texts and says she'll be there any minute. She showed up 45 minutes late.

HB7, not HB8 Even though I was sober when I #-closed, she wasn't as attractive as I recalled. I feel obligated to share this. I believe she was probably like five or ten years older than me too.

Rocky start I was seated at a table. I see her walk past me and I say hi. She does not remember me apparently. She asks my name. I tell her. She shakes my hand. Awful.

Boring She sits across from me instead of next to me where her menu was. For the first fifteen minutes her eyes are glued to the menu. I'm trying to engage her but she's not keeping up her end of the conversation. This is shattering my state and also making me annoyed by her.

Strike 1, 2, 3, and on Through what little conversation we have I discover more and more things about her that are unattractive. I did not ask this, but if I were to ask her what she had going for her besides her looks, I'm afraid that she'd not be able to give me a good answer. IMPORTANT I think I should have qualified her A LOT more during the open phase. I should have found out a lot of this information in the beginning and saved my time.

She's rejecting me? That's funny I say this with as much humbleness as I can express in this text box: She legitimately didn't qualify to my standards. I thought she was physically attractive and I probably would have FWB her but aside from that she was just boring and not very ambitious. This is why I was so shocked that she was playing it off like I didn't meet her standards. Her body language was just ice cold to me. At one point she pulled out her phone and called her friend right in front of me.

Coup de Grace I paid for dinner like a chump. She gave me a hug and left.

Post Mortem Obviously, I don't date much. I probably did a lot wrong. But I also think this girl wasn't doing me any favors. On one hand I feel great that things didn't go well because I deserve much better. On the other hand I'm baffled how she rejected me because I honestly believe I was higher value.

So that's that. I share this for those who wanted to know how it went. Pretty brutal. Disregard failure; acquire experience.
