Last weekend, I went out with the guys from Bay Area seddit (who are all bad ass and super chill). A couple of the guys met up at my apartment and pre-gamed for a bit before we took the bus to head over to meet the rest of the group. While we're on the bus, a cute college age girl gets on and ends up sitting right next to me. Now you would think because I'm hanging out with the fellow seddit guys, I would immediately start chatting this chick up, and at least try to warm myself up for the night. NOPE! Totally choded out for the first couple of minutes, until one of the BAS guys (ImKumarYo) straight up called me out, forcing me to make conversation. He didn't embarrass me in any way at all, but he was quite adamant in repeating "Snarky, go for it, Snarky go for it, Snarky go for it" Eventually I had to step up, and I talked with the girl for the rest of the time she was on the bus. (I think like 5 min. at the most) Our conversation was fine, I even got her to laugh at a few stupid jokes. While there was no close, it made me realize how important it is when you're starting out, to be around people that force you out of your comfort zone. This is a hard journey to take by yourself, and having quality wingmen that know game only makes it easier.
