I went out with 2 other guys to party on after a wedding last night. I got one of them into seddit a couple of months ago, so he might be surprised if he sees this!

We grab some drinks at the bar and I grab a table next to a mixed set to settle in (2 guys, 2 HB7s). I plan on opening the set for practice, because I find it easier its mixed. Before we can even sit down one of the girls has already opened US. Too easy...

I forget what she said but I pull up chair and she comes over. Before long the other girl is over chatting with us and we're all having a great time. One of the other guys they were with has disappeared and the other dude is sitting at their table like an old AFC.

The one I'm talking to teaches IT to middle school students and is a self confessed nerd. She's cool but has never heard of reddit - not a real nerd ;)

The five of us end up talking for HOURS, which was ridiculously too long. I couldn't wind it up when there was so many other people. I hindsight I should have isolated or got her dancing or something.

Sitting next to her at the table was a perfect opportunity to escalate kino. While there was a bit, I was having bit trouble escalating...

I was waiting for the end to number close, but it was taking too long so fuck it, just went for it half way though. I got a small laugh and no resistance. It wasn't smooth, but hey, it was effective.

When the bar closes at 5am we go to grab some food and the others make a lame attempt at getting them home. To be honest I am more than ready to call it a night. My friend ends up # closing the other one and they get a cab.

I really should have closed way quicker and ejected on my own terms - next time.

Just have to get better at kino escalation and work out what to do next!
