22/M here. Met a really nice chick about a few months ago at a coffee shop she works at. We make small talks everytime I see her around. I couldn't make a move while ordering a coffee but fortunately we work in the same mall and I asked her to come by my store if she has time. Yesterday she did, talked for a bit. I asked if she was going to look around my store, says no and that she was "just there to say hi." We go to school downtown so I asked if she's around the area often to which she says yes. I told her we could grab lunch some time and she gave me her number.

Here's the kicker, my friend who works with me have seen her around the mall with her bf and told me about this when I told him I got her number. Kind of disappointed. :/

She asked me to text her my number but I was planning on calling her tomorrow. Maybe I'll just text her but jeez, why the hell do girls do this? :/ Should I even bother texting?

Actually, should I be more clear with my intentions next time?
