Does anyone have any advice on where to buy clothes, and what kinds of clothes to buy, on a budget? I have browsed a number of supposed men's clothing stores and can find nothing I like. Sure, I can find suits and dress clothes, or preppy casual wear, but I never find anything with a bit of personality. I confess that I don't really think about men's fashion that much. I don't really know where to start. I'd like to feel more confident about what I'm wearing. I also wonder if I could be doing better based on my build (I'm 6'2, 215 lbs, working out regularly, and aiming to lose more weight) and the fact that to deal with my thinning and graying hair, I shave it about once every 1-2 weeks. Additionally, I'm in my early 30's, so I'm not sure how youthful to dress.

It seems as though the quality of the fabrics is going down, at least in terms of blue jeans. The denim is thinner, wears out quicker, and some of the prices are astronomical.

Any advice would be appreciated. I was surprised that there was very little information on this subreddit when I ran a search.
