BE FUN. Most people will be in the same situation, being in a room full of strangers. That's what can make weddings so great. If you are upbeat and positive and if you are the creator of fun, people will be attracted to that. Who do you know there? Get them to introduce you around. Or adopt a wedding buddy - pick a girl and adopt your best war movie/coach inspirational heat of battle tone and say "ok, you and me, we're going to get through this thing together. Only x more hours til the bouquet gets thrown. We can do this." And that can be your inside joke with her. She'll give you the details on who she knows, you guys can conspire together, give knowing looks across the room, and so on.

Have a stranger introduce you to everyone they know. Introduce a stranger to another stranger - "You two really look like you need to know each other." If they already do, make a joke of it, or pivot to something that lets you get to know them better. "Nice! So you guys are the kind of people who like to work ahead. Did you meet at work? Does xxxx steal food out of the breakroom fridge? Be honest."

Make sure your initial core group of people you meet know your 1-sentence story, so that when others ask them they know what to say about you, like "Oh, yeah, thats toksicity, he can't spell at all but he's a really cool guy who volunteers for environmental causes."

If you are bringing people together and fomenting a good time, people will be attracted to that. It doesn't need to be grandiose, center of attention lampshade on head wackiness. You're not a dancing monkey. Just be nice, be fun, and bring people together.

More specifically for you, I'd focus on building comfort quickly - making sure they know you're sexy cool and not creepy cousin. If you've built credibility early, it will make things easier for you when you are rocking out on the dance floor. You know about dance dynamics. Big things can happen there to demonstrate your awesomeness. You're in public at receptions, so that can be challenging for escalating kino too far - although it can be very sexy if you're discreet. Things will be heightened anyway (there's already a time constraint), so if you have the opportunity to isolate, it should work very naturally for you.

When I first read the title, I assumed you were the groom and was going to be like "dude... you already got her." I was also hoping to see a field report that read [FR] K-Closed bride at my wedding!

Actual advice now: treat it like going out solo, but hop around a lot. Make friends with people, and have them introduce you to others. Talk to some of the bridesmaids, the groomsmen, random strangers. Guaranteed there's going to be single girls there, and you have the advantage that love is in the air, and this gets many women sentimental (and I'm assuming drops the shield you'll often find at clubs).

Still though, I really wish you were talking about your own wedding.

EDIT: Bonus points if this wedding is one where a lot of guests are staying overnight.

In my experience the single people at weddings will definitely be looking a little awkward. That is typically because weddings are swarming with couples. So, keep an eye out and make sure to keep conversation up.

Never done wedding game. I think the most important thing is SCOUTING.

Take note of all the single chicks who are looking lonely at the wedding. They are the targets.

Be funny, outgoing. Don't just find one girl and stick with her, go for more. Maybe make a small flirty conversation with one and make sure she sees you laughing it up with another later on.

Be silly; if there's an open bar (free) say something like "can I buy you a drink? I'll spare no expense"
