Is that such a problem? My assumption is that girls will go look me up on facebook as soon as they have my whole name, so all there is to see is a photo of me and the school I went to (prestigious dhv).

Hope the googling worked out for you, I'm curious whether there's a funny story behind this.

I like to joke about this with her, I don't see where the problem is. I was talking online with a HB8 and asked for her facebook name or number. She gave me her number so I texted her: "I was kinda hoping for your full name so I could stalk your facebook profile", she laughed, gave me her name and accepted my friend request. Of course she also went through my whole profile so guys, make sure to make your facebook profiles not too embarassing.

Full text, for those of you who are not members of the other subreddit:

What a weekend. I #-closed 8 HB6-9s this weekend. I'm not posting to brag. I'm posting because I have an interesting insight about the approach I took with these # closes:

After you # close a HB, I've discovered that she will google you if she is interested in you AND you give her your full time. I discovered this when reviewing my google analytics account after I #close 8 HBs this weekend.

Let me back up for a second:

I always end the # close with a text message. It gets her used to seeing my name/number. The copy of the text is as follows:

Hey (HBname), Nice meeting you at (venue). (Banter about whatever we talked about) -- (Firstname) (LastName)

Giving my full name is bait: It says "Go ahead, google me, you know you want to".

If you are truly high value, you can use this to your advantage. The first 10 results on google for me include a NYTimes article about my recent success as a businessman, an award I won for being "one of the most promising young businessmen in XXXX niche", along with my facebook, twitter, blog, etc.

TLDR: DHV = less flakes after a # close.
