Build up excitement for you by creating a connection between her dreams/hopes and your adventurous personality. If you can create a frame so that she is actually hunting you, it is a lot easier to transition to a more intimate conversation. It is important to do this in combination with kino and isolation. A few minutes into the conversation you should manage to isolate her. Escalate. If you don't, you will waste a lot of time fumbling in the dark (awful pun) not knowing what your odds are.

I think its been said here, but keep up the kino. If you're ace at building comfort that's got to be your next area of attack. Escalate as she's comfortable, but keep up the intent.

I screwed up an opportunity similar to one you outlined by letting the kino drop. She thought I had lost interest/ gotten uncomfortable (friend of ex). If you stop rolling up the escalation you slide back down.

You MUST GET SEXUAL, sooner rather than later. As you feel that she's starting to build a rapport with you, you need to start throwing sexual comments, jokes, etc. in as soon as possible. From the very start, she needs to know that you are a sexual person and that you view her as such. If you don't, you can build up all the comfort you want, and you're only going to get steered into Friendzone territory.

The distance between "sex partner" and "LJBF" is narrower than you think. In short, if she doesn't think of you and sex together in her mind, you're just a friend. So make sure she starts thinking of you that way as soon as you can.
