I recently watched this show. And although it has amazing writers and a great script I found the concept to be rather silly. Yes, hank moody is a master at not giving a fuck. But he chases a woman who he clearly does not belong with. The woman is a fucking nut case. Also, the man barely says two words and the women want to sleep with him, you guys if anyone should know that girls don't do that... Unless they do in California. And in that case I'm moving to California.

The value of the show is definitely seeing a guy who is unfazed by pretty much everything.

On the other hand, not all of us have a team of scriptwriters and hours to rehearse relevant off-the-cuff, non-try-hard banter.
