I roll through this subreddit a couple times a week, but I doubted that I would ever post or comment because it doesn't ever seem to apply to me. However, this one is something I have experience with.

Be a considerate but purposeful asshole. Every single girl that I have had sex with regularly has been told that I don't want a girlfriend, I just want sex. You will be surprised how many girls are thrilled with that idea. After that initial explanation, do not treat them any differently than your other female friends. Except for when you have sex of course. The final part of this is the most difficult, but still very simple. Get thicker skin. The girl is going to get emotionally attached eventually, and that will lead to uncomfortable situations for you. You simply deal with them and move on.

Your greatest mistake is lying to the girls. I know you didn't say lying in you post, but that is what you are doing. If you want to stop giving girls the wrong impression, then stop telling them lies. You keep it purely sexual by telling them that you want to keep it purely sexual, not by telling them that you love them.

Then again, I am in college. If you are not, you have fundamentally different problems to work around and it may be that none of this helps. Thicker skin is key though, sir. Because wehavecontrol is right, women simply have emotional connections to men they have sex with. Tis life.

A few tips that may help.

Don't see them on a regular basis. Doing so creates a habit and comfort. Can easily lead to emotions forming
Ease up on the romantic gestures. I know it can be an easier path, but it will charm their emotions, not their body. Leave these things up to a 'boyfriend'

On that note, think to yourself "Am I being a boyfriend, or a lover?" and proceed accordingly.

Be open about your lifestyle. Some women are comfortable knowing the guys they sleep with aren't committed, so it gives them the freedom to play the field too. This card must be played with confidence and conviction.
Lastly, be aware that it's very natural (and chemical) for women to create emotional connections to the men they have sex with. They release Oxytocin.

I am kind of in the same boat Imaulle, I sometimes have issues getting them invested enough. Do not forget that a portion of this is just the girls you meet will vary. Some will start closer to no strings attached territory, others in the relationship territory.
