First post on seddit, this one got really under my skin. So I meet this girl at a work event, chat her up and I think everything went well. I ask her out to drinks a week or two later, and we go out for a long time (got to the bar at 6, left at midnight). Thought the date went well we both drank and talked a lot. After we left it was kind of quick, we hugged goodbye and she hopped in a cab. Texted her a few days later to see if she wanted to come out to brunch, she agreed, then canceled, saying she was sick, the day of.

Thinking nothing of it, I asked her to see how her weekend went. She responded by saying she had a great time at her boyfriends house.

I had no idea how to respond to this. At no point in time did bf get brought up. Is a game being played on me? Seems very surprising that she mentioned this now.
