I had a date where I actually felt like a performer bombing on a stand up show. We just ran out of words... nothing else to be said or done.

We literally had to call it a night awkwardly and go our separate ways.

How can I avoid these situations?

I fear that dating girls who I barely know beforehand is a monumental task beyond my reach... I find it so hard opening up to strangers.

I'm thinking of giving up this whole dating scene and just hope things work out somehow... It was kind of a traumatizing experience...
