Night goes like this:

  • Meet up with girl at bar for a few beers
  • Hang out for a few hours, having a great time, we're laughing, telling stories, just being generally awesome - there's never a dull moment, positive IOIs, messing with hair, smiling, turning towards me, crossing legs towards me, sitting real close, etc.
  • Walk back to her place, chat some more, end with the gentlemanly hug and kiss (she went for it more than I did), she says she wants to see me again
  • profit?

So I text her later that night saying this: "Hey I had an awesome time. I didn't realize anyone from [state where she's from] was as cool as you. Private school girl..." Obviously (to me) a sort of prodding, teasing compliment, meant as playful.

She responds with: "Haha that was a backhanded compliment if I ever heard one...but I had a great time too. Catch ya on the flipside."

I'm slightly thrown through a loop here. Is the phrase "catch ya on the flipside" a way of her saying "Alright, we're done texting for now?" She doesn't really leave a conversation open there, so my gut feeling is to just leave it be for now and call her in a day or two to set up the next meeting. What do?
