For night game, I recommend sitting at the bar and just casually chatting to as many people as you can in good spirits. Get into a warm, friendly vibe and eventually branch out to more adventurous settings.

Day game should follow a similar pattern. Warm up by chatting it up with your barista or clerk, then complimenting someone on something noticeable to add value to them, and then approach those who you truly are interested in.

You should also check out Kurt Spelling's free stuff. It's more inner game stuff that radiates through all your interactions.

i prefer solo game, you control the conversation and its a quicker way to build rapport. I'm all about getting it done as fast as possible and move on to the next one. a quick step-by-step approach (don't quote me on this, everyone has their own technique) to me would be:

interest from the female (eye contact, smile, wave, any gesture)
introduction (hi my name is.....whats yours, nice to meet you) kino lvl 1 (handshake, shoulder touch, etc) try to open with a little joke/wise ass comment
converse for 10-20 minutes
close by giving her your phone and asking her to put it in, don't mention lets hang out. be spontaneous; the more you think about the action the more you'll hesitate.
dip, or have a exit plan in place.
you miss 100% of the shots you don't take, for god fucking sakes talk to her. a man with confidence to walk up and talk to a lady can easily outweigh a guy with good physical appearance but shitty ass game/shyness.

The difference between solo game and other types of game is just really perspective. You know your going out by yourself, others dont. As long as your playing it right, it doesnt matter if your alone or with an entorouge. I used to think it was lame to go out by myself, now, I do it more often. Once you get your AA handled, solo or not, you will still handle a situation. I think someone else mentioned it, but just build up. Talk and engage with people around you as a warm up. Build connections with others and youll branch out from there. Then you proceed like you would have, friend or no friends.

Some quick thoughts about this:

-Solo game is simply less effective than tandem, as you can effectively deal with many more scenarios with a wing. Also, by giving each other feedback, you can motivate or change each others' states and you avoid the pitfall of just having your own increasingly introspective thoughts and distorted sense of what's going on. It's not bad to be alone, it's just not as good, so try to find wings if possible.

-Start talking to people immediately. Without having a wing doing approaches to give you "permission" to approach, you have to make your own way. The best way to do that is to create strong momentum as soon as possible.

-Manage your state. When I go out alone, there will always be at least one point where my state drops and my head's on a swivel, being or feeling very reactive and passive. The secret is being able to accept that, and DO WORK IMMEDIATELY to force yourself into set and change your state. Don't start identifying with that feeling; it's the ability to turn it around despite rationalization, etc. that will keep you going. As with most things, perseverence is how to distinguish between those who succeed and those who fail.

-Create social contacts. By this I mean creating a sort of home base of people you've spoken to that are cool with you around. Use this to buoy your energy level and create some amount of social proof (especially if they're girls!). Plus, hey, it's nice to make friends.

-It's not bad or weird to be by yourself. There's something attractive about somebody who can go somewhere by themselves, assured they will be well-received. So, don't feel weird about it and don't explain yourself in more than a sentence or a joke (unless it's some kind of dealbreaker with your girl). "I'm all alone- like Pinocchio!" should be fine.

I'm a guy who usually works better solo, but I usually need a friend to scope for me.

For instance, about a week ago, there was this girl just standing by her friends, looking a bit bored. Very cute. Now I would have passed her right by, but my friend grabbed me by the shoulder, spun me around and said "That girl, she's the one," and gave me a tiny shove.

From there, I just did my thing and we ended up dancing for a good hour and exchanging numbers. I don't like having a wing hanging by me while I work my magic, but then again, I'm terrible at being decisive. I'll walk around the place just looking for that one special girl, never finding her and passing up dozens of amazing girls in the process.

So, gaming solo and with a wing each has advantages depending on your personality.

If you're looking for general tips on how to game alone, I only have one that counts: Befriend the bartender. If you can get familiar with him/her early on (not in a creepy way; treat them like you're a good guy greg) they will definitely be your go to person. You become "That guy who knows the bartender" and your social value sky rockets. They'll call you by name, get you drinks first, and maybe introduce you to other regulars that walk in. Overall, it just makes the experience better.
