It was a Tuesday night. Top dawg Tofutofu has just landed in SFO and I was feeling a little neutral after a regular night at Madrone with friends (I learned a lot about conviction in closing though). Had a few beers at home and some conversation with my roomie about our future plans. My whole intention was to come out and meet the tofumaster, hang out with friends and just get to know people.

After an hour nap I decided to head out. Jumped in the swagon and made my way to SF. I walked in to the meeting place and soon as I enter the door, 5 girls checked me out. It's like that pinging thing when enemies appear in a real time strategy game. It felt good. I went in looking for the people I'm supposed to meet with a half-smirk on my face because of girls changing body language when they made eye contact with me. No biggie, it happens to everyone. I met with other people and started conversations, shooting shit just to warm up. A little fluff here in there with random girls. Then the rest of the Bay Area folks showed up and it was great meeting people finally. Tofutofu came and had random conversations with everyone just trying to get to know folks. It really felt like just a bunch of dudes hanging out on a tuesday night.

I was midconversation with one of the guys when I noticed Tofutofu opened this girl and eventually introduced me to her (thanks a whole bunch man). So me and her got to talking. After a few minutes of small talk I learned that her friends left her to go to a strip club. I looked around figuring out how to respond to that and realize none of the BAS crew was within eyesight so I just responded with "what do you know, my friends left me too." I then followed up with, "fuck em, we can have fun on our own. It's frickin tuesday and I'm hanging out with a really cute girl. That's worth celebrating." She gave me a smile that made me realize that it. is. on.

So fluff talked commence. Jokes were thrown around here and there. The jokes were references to something that is familiar to her.

e.g. she's a nurse and I made a statement about me being a Filipino and have the talent to smell nurses a mile away. She apparently didn't register on my radar... shit like that.

As I was telling a joke I tried grabbing her hand. She complied and squeezed mine. It was also about the time that I just finished my drink so in spite of the general consensus here about buying girls drinks, I got her one. It just seemed like the natural thing to do at the moment. As we were having our drink, I suggested that we find a place to sit down since standing up by the bar makes having a conversation difficult. So we moved to look for a spot, I extended my hand and she grabbed it (another ping! in my head). We found a spot and got comfortable. I put my arm around her and we started people watching creating stories about people based on their clothes and how they were acting. It was great because both of us started opening up about our friends and family. I don't exactly know the details of our conversation but I made sure that I can root back whatever I was talking to with whatever she is familiar with. All through out I peppered the interaction with random crap in the lines of; After giving her a little peck on the side of the head, I would say "you're really cute I don't usually do this". Keep in mind that I was also established earlier with some stories about highschool how I was a major video game geek etc etc.

The whole time was spent trying to trigger the romantic angle. I mean jeezus, I really think she was cute and smart so I guess it wasn't that hard. I pretty much went with the idea of thinking how I would want this girl to remember me. So I went with the cute charming video game geek. Keep in mind that you don't tell her this directly but demonstrate it via stories and anecdotes. Also make sure she contributes equal effort in the conversation. When I feel like things are getting to a lull, I inject a compliment and a joke/funny story (with random DHV spikes). I also was direct in telling her that I was having fun talking to her and I didn't realize I can have so much lulz with a girl I just met. Then I injected the idea of us meeting again in the future. It wasn't hard because I mountain bike and she has a mountain bike and has been wanting to get back on it. Numbers were exchanged, random myspace type pictures were taken of us together both in my phone and hers. More lulz followed by really personal questions about each other. Take note that I was kinoing the whole time. Hand holding, fixing her hair so "I get to see her face", hand on knees then to inner thigh. Shit like that. (make sure it doesn't feel like groping... talk while your doing it).

Then she had to leave. I made an attempt for a kiss close earlier and she responded with "I just met you." I agree and gave another story. I walked her to the door and we were holding hands like a damn couple at this point. When I reach the door I gave her a kiss on the cheek. She returned it. I gave her a peck on the lips. She returned it again. I was holding her hand so I pulled her close and put my arm around her waste then I went for the full on make out kiss. Boom! She put her arms around my neck and skadoosh!.

I dunno if this FR is making sense. I just got home an hour ago. I've been basking on the glow of my achievement tonight. Tonight was super fun. Thanks fellas. big ups to Tofutofu. See you again tomorrow brother!
