To answer your question though, if they are saying something that I am not digging, I try not to get into a 1-up banter war with them, instead I usually say "Ha!" and launch into a non-sequitor, leading the interaction somewhere different.

you can also try, instead of :'I study Computer Science'

Something stupid such as, 'I make computer's dance. Maybe I'll show you one day ;)' and move on.

You shouldn't rely on putting yourself down as a conversation piece to talk to the opposite sex. They will see it as a clear indicator of an afc.

Regarding what you can do; i would start by reading Shit Test (on the sidebar), and work on your conversation game.
