Been talking and seeing a certain girl for a month now and I try keep myself busy with sports, video games, Magic The Gathering, etc., but I wanted to give you guys a little text conversation i had 2 days ago with a girl i'm attracted to. This is how it went down:

quick backstory - been working graveyard (11pm-8am) the past 9 months, and i had to switch my schedule in 2 days as I start my new job (8:30am-5:30pm)

me: trying to sleep at 10:30 is the weirdest thing!

her: take nyquil!

me: i dont have any. I dont take any medicines like advil, tylenonl, pepto, etc.

her: haha, Im the opposite. I'll take anything to feel better

me: the dark side is strong in you young padawan

her: the only reason I recognized padawan is bc i was helping my nephew read a star wars book

her: and btw, nerd... :P

me: hahaha i am not ashamed of my awesome hobbies and/or nerdy tactics and sayings :)

her: fair

her: btw, u're pretty awesome for loving something that some would think is silly and not caring about others opinions. Go you!!!

me: thank you though. Confidence can go a long way in your everyday life with work, friends, even girls!! Ive been workign alot on myself and having fun and doing what i love. And its great. i do what i love, and i love what i do :) :)

her: lol, how cute. I totally agree though. Makes a person more adventurous

her: well thank u for doing that stuff with me. Everything tastes and is more enjoyable with company.

I just want to say, been lurking, going out, asking questions, and inputting around on seddit and askseddit for a good 5-6months now, and its completely changed my whole view on every aspect of my life with Family, Friends, Girls, even the workplace! At work, Ive recently been the go to guy for questions and answers, opinions on projects or handed something with high importance and needs a deadline to be met, im the guy to trust. I lead and walk around with my head up, saying hello to everyone, even security. I have a good natural aura, and people love to be around me. As serious and stressful life can be though, dont forget to have your fun. Do what you love. I go hiking, play co-ed softball during the week, im in a basketball league, go to Magic Tournaments, play video games online (xbox/pc), ride my motorcycle, watch movies, etc. and everything else will fall into place. It's not always about picking up chicks, but improving yourself first and foremost. Girls will naturally be attracted to how much fun youre having talking about what makes you happy and what not. Girls should be the icing, not the cake. Thanks seddit!
