I just want to share this story about how I transformed myself to you guys. I think it can help a lot of people who are going to Uni and/or lack self-confidence. Everything in here is the truth and hopefully it opens some of yours eyes as to how awesome you are!

All throughout High School I had suffered with a complete lack of self confidence. I could be myself in a group of close friends but somehow couldn't replicate that into situations with a lot of people I didn't know and more importantly with any member of the female form. I had only had one kiss which was when I was 11 and it didn't really count because that the time everyone at school hooked up with at least one other person. I constantly made excuses to myself and told my friends lame stories about when I had hooked up with a girl over the holidays (lies). I had such little confidence in myself that even once when at a school dance and sitting next to this girl I had a massive crush on, her friends were teasing us about how great a couple we would be when she didn't deny just blushed I didn't think for a second she would be interested in me. Even later on when she dragged me to the dance floor cause "it was her favourite song and we just had to dance to it" I didn't make a move. I couldn't even hope that a girl as hot as her would be interested in a guy like me (I found out later she had a huge crush on me as well fml).

As High School finished and the summer holidays begun I was dreading the start of Uni. After hearing wild stories about it from my cousins and older friends about how hot the girls are, how you can score with them so easily. I was supposed to come back from Uni with stories like that? Me, an 18 year old virgin whose only kissed one girl in his entire life and that was 7 years ago. I thought I was fucked. No way was I going to impress anyone when I got back for the breaks.

Uni came and the first night me and my flatmate went to a party a friend of ours was throwing. I was nervous as fuck, ready to spend a night drinking my sorrows away. Standing at the back of the room looking to everyone talking to all the girls I realised something that would change my life forever. Why am I scared of getting rejected by people I have never met before? Can it possibly feel worse than being by myself not interacting with new people? Fuck no. Plucking up all my courage I went over and introduced myself to a girl and starting talking to her. To my complete surprise things went well and she gave me her number. HOLY SHIT! My mind raced. Had a really gotten a girls number? As the night progressed I got two other girls numbers. It felt like a dream.

The next day I was filled with more confidence than I had felt ever before in my life. I wasn't destined to never interact with girls at all! This self confidence radiated out from me and I felt more comfortable with myself than I ever had before. And it showed. At one point in the day whilst having a floor competition we had to team up with people we had never met before. Usually I hated these things and went for the most awkward looking person there. This time I told myself I'd pick a cute girl and looked around confidently for one, I didn't get the chance to because before I can pick a girl one of the hottest came up to me and asked if I had a partner. Shocked I said no and so we teamed up and I joked around with her, feeling just on top of the world. I got this girls number and eventually went on to sleep with her.

Now I went out this night filled with the determination to talk to more girls. At a club that played indie music I saw her. A HB10 standing at the bar with her friends. All of a sudden all my insecurities rushed back to me. Do I dare to talk to her? You're too skinny! You're nose is a tad too big! Is that a pimple on your face! She'll humiliate you! All these negative thoughts rushed into my head threatening to tear down my new found confidence. "Fuck it" I thought. I'm awesome. There is nothing wrong with how I look. Steeling myself I introduced myself to her with something incredibly lame "Hey, do you like my glasses?" (They were those fake rayban hipster ones) and surprisingly it worked. I chatted her up for a bit and got her number.

The next day I texted this girl and asked if she wanted to meet up in town. She replied with a sure when/where etc and so we did. Long story short this was the night I lost my virginity. I was ecstatic. I finally believed in myself and here I was pounding away at a HB10 who I had learned was a 20 year old British model having a gap year. I couldn't fucking believe it. All these years my lack of self-confidence was holding me back. Those negative thoughts about how not funny I am, how unattractive I was, how no girl would ever find me interesting. They were what had been holding me back.

I went on to have sex with this girl every night for a month before she went back home during which time I took her advice and applied to a modeling agency. Me? A model? No fucking way I thought. When Mum and her friends had told me I should be one I thought it was just a grown up thing to say. Turns out they were right and all this time I had been devilishly attractive but had no confidence to back it up. I got the job.

After the babe who had stolen my V plates had gone back home I went through a phase of going out nearly every night and bringing back the hottest girls I could find to a night of wild passion. Haha I even went through and slept with a girl from each floor in my Halls of Residence just to see if I could. At eighteen I was going out and sleeping with girls five years older than me. I was getting part time work as a model and had even scored a job for some of the local clubs which literally involved going to rival clubs, picking up groups of girls and bringing them back. I was living the life every guy dreams of.

And what had changed? My looks? No. Did I change me personality? No. How I dress? No. Did I pick up some formula from the internet about how to sleep with lots of girls and use this every night? No. I changed nothing except my outlook on who I am as a person. Everyone of us has something to offer. We are all equals. Not one person is better than the other. Having self-confidence is all that matters in this world. If you're too afraid to show anyone just how awesome you are whose going to do it for you? I was good looking enough to be a male model but my looks counted for shit, without confidence girls had no interest in me. Each and everyone of us deserves to get out there and show other people, guys and girls, just how awesome we are. If we don't we're committing a crime by robbing the world of our own awesomeness.

As for me now I'm still at Uni studying for a Law degree. I still model on and off. I still play video games all the time. I try surf whenever I get the chance. I volunteer for the Big Brother program and am currently fighting for gay rights in my country as a Bill goes through Parliament that would legalise it. I don't go to the gym because I'm happy being skinny but if that makes you feel better go for it. I don't sleep around as much after a recent STD scare but if I feel like it I'll still go out and take a girl back to mine. Most of the time I just go out to dance which ironically gets more girls interested in me than if I go out looking for them haha. I'm currently trying to find a girl out there who I can have a meaningful relationship with.

Thanks for reading, if anyone has any questions or anything feel free to ask. I hope this posts helps those starting Uni/College to get out there and be their awesome selfs!

TL;DR Only kissed one girl during High School and had no self-confidence. A month after gaining some I became a male model and was sleeping with a Birtish Model. Confidence is everything!!!

Edit: Wow this ended up being longer than I thought. Sorry guys :)
