Normally, having other girls around works to your advantage with yet more girls, right? So my cute neighbor has met my long-time FWB, 9 months. Said "she's beautiful." Also saw me Saturday with some random girl I brought home for a 1 nighter...bigger girl, but whatever.

I asked said neighbor out for like the 2nd time (the one-night girl was there at the time, out of earshot, haha), and she said "you've already got a girl," referring to that FWB. I already explained we're not exclusive, but whatever.

I had the neighbor in my bed talking a couple of weeks ago and tried to make out with her. She refused, but said "I want to," and then asked me about the FWB, what my relationship to her was.

Is "social proof" working against me? And is there a way out? I'm not super concerned about this 1 girl (I already think it's not gonna happen), just kinda confused and also wanting to know for the future.
