I visited my friend in the east coast who goes to school in an all women's college. Went to a party and opened this one HB7, who we'll call under the alias: Susan.

12AM I'm dancing around, having a good time. Then I join this group of people dancing. Susan and her friend sees me and ask where I'm from. Introductions etc etc.

Susan is playfully teasing with me "How do I not know you're a creep? :P". I respond with "You tell me. :P". One IOI I noticed was the fact that I was able to hold her on her waist, the "claw" if you will. I go around the dance floor and dance with other sets.

1:30AM-isher I return to Susan's group. We get close, I'm still able to claw. We grind in front. The dance was about to end, so I #-closed.

2AM I go back to my friend's apartment and I text Susan.

Me: It's your most awesome Cali person who you met for the night. ;] -AlmerKnight

Susan: Hahaha I dont know why you're finding yourself so special :P

Me: Well politicians do have to be special, am I right? :P I'm still ready to party before I leave tomorrow! Know any places around?

Susan: Haha depends on what you're into :]

Me: My friends wanna go to sleep (not really) and I'm not ready to. Haha. [Friend's apartment] is boring right now. You should totally show me around.

Susan: Aw you should have caught me right after the party :[ I lost all my friends :P

Me: Let's be friends tonight then. :]

Susan: Haha that sounds like fun.. :P but im already back in my room :P

Me: Where do you live?

Susan: [Her place] :P haha pretty far for you (not really)

Me: [My friend] took me there for lunch today. It's not that bad of a walk. Besides, this campus is beautiful; there's so much more to explore

Susan: Haha is [my friend] helping you by saying that? Iunno if ther is much to see in the night.. :P

Me: Obviously [my friend] is telling me everything to say. :P What would you suggest then? Be an awesome tour guide.

Susan: Haha I don't know if I'm up for that :] maybe something else? (Now that you think about it...I'm thinking this was a message for me to go to her room.. I probably didn't read it correctly..)

Me: This is your campus. Suggest something

Susan: Hah want to explore the [one of the academic buildings]

Me: Sure thing, let's meet at [her place]

Susan: Haha if you like or maybe the entrance of the Sci center?

Me: I can meet you at [her place] and we can walk to the [one of the academic buildings]

Susan: Hahah alright let me know when you're here :P whats your full name btw?

Me: I'm [full name] :P duh

Susan: Is that facebookable? Hahaha

Me: Try [facebookable name] haha

Susan: Haha cool we have one mutual friend [mutual friend]? :P

Me: Yeah, I went to high school with her

Susan: Cool ! I only met her a couple of times, my good friend goes to [mutual friend's college] with her :P

Me: Nice, btw come on down. I'm pretty much here

Susan: Haha okay :P

3AM

We meet and walk and talk to the place. She's says she's cold. (IOI) I hold her by the waist. Once we get to the place, we sit at a lounge area. It's just the two of us in the building, which she only has access to with a card. We start talking, getting to know each other.

3:30AM I sense a disturbance in the force. We walk around campus and we're near my friend's apt. She suggests I can go back if I'd like. I say, "I'm down for more exploring." We walk some more, and start taking about tv shows. I suggest showing a show to her. She agrees. We go back to her place.

4AM

We're at her place, I go inside her room. We cuddle in her bed. I show her a clip. Then I try kissing her neck, she stops. She tells me that she doesn't want to.

"Originally, I intended to have fun. However, I just feel that we don't connect on any level." (In my mind, I was like asfjkfjirh3u. But I had to maintain composure). I tried to salvage the situation to attempt to connect with her. Apparently it's the fact that, even though we're both Asian, we both have cultural differences between a west coast asian and an east coast asian.

5AM I can sense she's getting really uncomfortable. So then I tell her I should head back. She complies. She sends me off at her lobby. I walk back in the night, along the forested trees, defeated.

Prologue I'm sure there's plenty of IOIs and red flags that you can point out. I know that the execution wasn't perfect. It's definitely a great lesson to know for the future.
