Background Information I was trying to get at this girl a few weeks ago. I had a date with her, but then it didn't seem like she was interested. A few days ago, I see her on the bus and we both said hi. Then a few minutes later, she texts me. I assumed that was an IOI. I later proceeded to ask her to dinner. She said yes.

Act I I ask her (Girl A) for dinner in the late evening. She is down to have dinner.

Act II A few hours before, she texts me asking if our friend (Girl B) could come also. I can't say no in this situation. (I know I know.. You can dispute this in the comments.)

Act III I arrive near their place. They're 20 minutes late. I get a call from Girl B, asking to drive up to their apartment. Also, she says she invited Girl C to this dinner. At this point, I knew this was going nowhere.

Act IV I go upstairs, we meet their roommate Girl D. Thinking, "hmm this might have potential". I decided "fuck it, this mission is lost, might as well". We invited Girl D along also. So as we're walking down, I'm talking to Girl D, getting to know her. THEN she goes, "Oh, my boyfriend lives in the same [residence complex] as you!". At this point my mind was "asdfghjkl".

Act V Driving to the restaurant, it was alright. I was able to try to balance talking to all of them. There were 4 or 5 different conversations going on. Once we got to the restaurant we were able to have a lot of laughs. Got to know each other a bit. Then I drove them home.

Prologue What I learned from this, is that it's okay to have disastrous meetups. We learn from what we did and we move on. I'm sure I'm going to get berated for not standing my ground, but there are just some social situations where you can't just say no.

It's practice. Also..it's a great study for us sedditors to dissect! Fire at will. :]

TL;DR: Girl who I asked to dinner, invited a girl, who invited another girl, who we invited another girl to come along.
