So I've been really, really strapped for money recently and it seems whatever I do I just cannot find a job.

Anyway, I caved in and applied for one of those charity fundraising jobs (often referenced as chuggers) who approach you in the street, and try to convince you to donate to a charity. Yes, I know it's awful job but hell it pays £7/hr 6 days a wk. Then I realized that my job will quite literally be opening sets in public shopping centres, etc. You have to dedicate a minimum of 5 weeks to it, I figured this is a really good way to force myself to get out there and make progress, especially considering I'll be driven by job targets (e.g get so many people to donate).

Has anybody else done work like this before? I want to know if I'm making it out to be something better in my head that it really is.
