Curious as to what other sedditors are looking for when meeting women.

Over time you will refine your ideal women. Certain things you look for now are sure to change as you will sleep with and/or date women with these traits and realize they were only good in theory.

For me it is a large mix of physical and personality traits, with a lot more emphasis on personality than when I began. The most important this is that I am looking for a girl that can keep up with me. I strive to be the best and push myself to my limits and expect any potential girlfriend to do the same. If she isn't willing to exit her comfort zone and constantly try new things, she has no chance.

Next is that she needs to be aggressive in pursuing what she wants. I can't stand anyone who says they want something but aren't willing to take the required steps to make it a reality.

She needs to be able to make decisions for herself. I have dealt with too many people who are unable to decide their own future for themselves. I have nothing against them, but I will not date a girl who constantly needs assistance in making decisions.

A love of learning and a more balanced take on life is also required. Add in a more introverted mindset where she would rather spend time with just the two of us off on an adventure than at a bar or club.

The list goes on, but in short, I need a girl who is able to handle herself. If she is looking for someone to complete her through the relationship, someone who has things she doesn't, someone to cover her weaknesses, it almost certainly wont work out.

Also it doesn't hurt is she looks like a model.

Seriously, the more you refine and figure out exactly what you want the less girls there will be in your dating pool, but the more girls in general will be interested in you.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm not really looking for a girlfriend right now and have been avoiding dating (I was in a 7 year long relationship that I got out of about a year or 2 ago, for the first time in my adult life).

Lately I've been just going for the easy makeouts with girls I find attractive. I've been told that I am waaay too picky which is probably true (I turn down girls a decent amount, which you would think I wouldn't due to a dry spell, but I'm still turning them down... not sure why).

Really, the whole seddit thing for me started because I wasn't sure how to pick up girls, but now it's turned more into a confidence thing. I want the ability to feel at ease with any girl.

For me personally, I just enjoy lulz. Girls who can contribute to the amount of lulz in my life... I want to get to know them :)

I'm still working on figuring out and refining exactly what I am looking for. It is in a state of constant modification - not quite change, but just getting more clear and more specific.

For example I know a girl who is pretty cool, she's very smart, and is a pretty big geek. Not too long ago if you had told me you were setting me up with a girl with these qualities I would have been ecstatic and done everything in my power to turn it into a relationship, which I would have stayed in as long as possible.

But she's not exactly a warm person, and her sense of humor leaves something to be desired. Even though I am kind of geeky myself and always thought that was of prime importance, it turns out it's a bell curve for me where too much geek is a turn off. She's also not a girly-girl, and while I'm not looking for someone who loves shoe shopping and takes 3 hours to get ready, I've realized that I like them a little bit more girly.

I guess you could say it's like trying on jeans. There are a lot of pairs of jeans that fit, are comfortable enough, that you're happy with. They may even get better as you break them in and it seems like you found a pretty good pair even though there is one or two things that aren't ideal, but its easy to overlook the flaws. Then you find that perfect pair of jeans and you never want to take them off again. If you hadn't tried all those other ones first you may not have even realized you found the perfect pair for you.
