I'm a very hetero-leaning bisexual woman and this probably won't help you very much. I don't really use pickup techniques beyond abundance mentality, occasionally approaching, and reading people. I try to talk to everyone like we're totally awesome friends.

It's very easy to have sex with men. It's harder to have standards and figure out logistics (well, it's harder to have standards when you live in a shit area with your parents). I'm in a transitional period right now so I'm just trying to stay sane rather than get laid night and day.

I think if I moved somewhere that didn't have so many desperate guys like LA does then I'd have to work harder. New York has a higher ratio of single women so it would actually be a challenge to land decent guys.

When it comes to girls, I fail miserably. Women are fucking weird and I feel sorry for guys that they like to be with us. Part of my problem is that I don't meet a lot of non-hetero girls so when I get close to someone I end up with a mad crush on a straight girl. Actually I've always kind of fantasizes about "turning" a straight girl with my nonexistent cunnilingus skills.

My other problem is that as much as I love girls, they don't have dicks (usually--I'd love to date a trans woman who still enjoyed her dick). I LOVE dick. Love love love it. I have severe penis envy.

Anyway my advise is to hang out in queer-friendly areas and hit up lesbian night at clubs. Make eye contact, smile, joke, touch, make out. This worked for me once until I passed out in the girl's bed. Basically all I did was put my arm around her, play with her ass a bit, kiss her neck, and we made out for like two hours on some random couch before heading back to her place.

That was in college though, and she was lesbian. The real world might be harder. Maybe move to Portland?

Just saying, any time I've ever tried to pick up a straight chick, it's never gone farther than hanging out. For some reason, they just don't seem to be interested in other chicks. Maybe I should start hanging out at sororities.
