Keep the "polite" part. People will forgive you anything, as long as you act like a gentleman doing it.

That's pretty much it. But you shouldn't change who you are, plenty of nice guys get tons of ass. 'Nice guys' never get laid

Why would you ever want to not be sweet and polite? These are positive attributes, and not something that will get in the way of pursuing women.

These are very good traits; you just have to be certain you are gaining these labels because of positive behavior, not because of meekness or a lack of confidence or aggression(in the "being active" sense, not being all macho). If you find that is an issue for you, work on being direct and as wtf says, make sure your intentions are clear initially. It will help immensely.

If you're too nice, you are boring and predictable. Girls like the badboy because he's unpredictable, which is exciting.

You don't have to be the badboy. Throw in some unpredictability with your nicetude.
