I've honestly never seen anyone get slapped. Unless you, I don't know, grab her ass while she's not looking or something, I doubt you'll ever get slapped. Most girls will just tell you to fuck off if you're too annoying.

Want to reduce your anxiety about getting slapped? Try to get slapped. No, I don't really mean try to get slapped, I mean try to do the things you think will get you slapped. They probably won't. Women might even like it.

I once went out to some clubs with the intention of escalating kino to the point where I'd get slapped, so I could calibrate myself to just how far you could go. I was certain I'd chicken out before I hit any limits of socially acceptable forwardness.

But instead, I was totally surprised. I escalated kino more rapidly than I ever expected, I groped women openly and in one case, I was squeezing her butt within 15 seconds of meeting her. And I got no reaction from any of the women except giggling and squeezing me back.

I finally did get slapped, though. A chubby, ugly, drunk woman slapped me, she was mad that I was squeezing her mom.

Well if you do get slapped, I don't recommend laughing at her. I did this once she slapped me again.

If she slaps you again, don't laugh again and tell her you didn't even feel it because you're so drunk. You'll get slapped again.

And that was the only time I ever got slapped and it was because I was extremely intoxicated on my 21st birthday. I called the girl fat. She wasn't even fat, I was just being a dick and deserved it.

tl;dr Don't call girls fat.

A great way to avoid being slapped is to not be a dick. Be a decent human being, and you'd be surprised...

Mannerisms that work as a SlapShield:

Be honest/sincere. Fake compliments, backhanded comments, and mindgames are a quick way to get yourself slapped and/or clawed.
When flirting, keep things sensual, not overly sexual/gross.
If you like her, act like it. Don't try to play Mr. Better-than-her.. You want to be the one who makes her light up, not the one who destroys her night.
Jokes and laughter. Making her laugh is a good way to get things rolling. But never make a negative joke about her appearance, or voice, etc. This is not the way to get her in the mood. At all.
Groping is bad. Touching, after talking to her for a while, can be good, if you're subtle. Slow and welcome advances into her personal space may be an appropriate precursor to this.
