Meeting women for me isn't the problem, it's the getting their number that I can't seem to do. Tips?

Try to steer the conversation flow to a meeting after your initial approach. For example,

'Yeah have you heard of X on this street, really nice place'

'We should go some time? Let me grab your number'

It's important to have your phone out and ready to give it to the girl so she can type in her details.

Another situation would be at the end of the conversation, when you're about to part ways. Though, it's really hard to come up with a perfect routine, building up an attraction and a good conversation is key.

I use to be in the same situation. One day I figured it out during a conversation and it clicked... Pretty much anytime you're in the 'attraction' phase you can go for the number, but the longer in the conversation (quali and comfort) the better. Then whenever you want, just complement them on something non-physical, then pull out your phone, hand it to them and say We should hang out.

Example: Yadda Yadda You- I'm actually on my way to class/friends/ect , but you seem like a cool girl. I'd like to talk to you again(lame example I know) Her - ya! (Sometimes they'll insist you take her number) Yadda Yadda You- great we should keep in touch (hand her phone)

Done deal. Very consistent. Feel free to change it up as your style sees fit. Just make sure it's solid.

From one woman's perspective:
I don't think asking at the end works well. It's sort of a pressure tactic. It may leave her with a negative impression if she didn't want you to have her number but told you just because of the pressure.
Asking mid-to-early-end conversation is good for both of you because you can get a feel if she's excited about the number swap. Plus, it's always good to give yourself plenty of natural conversation to work it in. So, simply stating that you're enjoying the conversation and want to continue the chemistry, 'can we keep in touch?' or 'would you like to hang out?' should be just fine. Asking gives her the impression she has the upper hand, and that's important. :)
In time, you'll learn to master your technique, and it won't be awkward anymore.

I used to have the same problem. Just ask when you are about to part ways. Now i ask for numbers which I never use but on the bright side I can get in touch with anyone I need. Its quite useful.

I think the biggest problem with girls, at least for me, isnt getting their number but getting them to respond after you get it. Ive done text game with two girls and one of them just wouldnt fucking respond. Thats lame.

Also, if anyone still looks at this, when would it be acceptable to add said female on Facebook? I see all my friends just adding everyone they meet but that just seems so stalkery.

If you're at a party or something and either you don't feel like you are going to hook up with said girl (or you don't want to) whenever you leave just say "hey you're awesome put your number in" and hand them your phone. easy as pie.

The key is once they give you your number text them right away like "guess who;)" or something like that.

It isn't clingy to ask for someones phone number at all.

If you don't want to ask your phone number (I DO THIS A LOTTTT) give them your phone number, its less likely you'll get into contact with them, but its a lot less commitment for you (and it makes you look attractive lol)

Don't ask for a girls number because you feel like you should, ask for it because you want it to hangout with them (if that makes sense)

Numbers are a LOT LESS important in college than they are in real world game because you will be seeing the same people a lot. Maybe the 3rd or 4th time seeing someone you may feel like you want it, but not the first.

Now I see where your coming from after typing this post (i think as I write)

You meet these girls at parties or mixers or whatever and you're talking to them but you FEEL like you should ask for their number. No, you shouldn't, you will see these same people again and it is actually kind of clingy to ask for it randomly if you're just talking. If you and a girl are flirting hardcore or you made out or something like that, then yeah you can ask for it the first time you see them and it won't be weird. But if you just met them and you didn't hit it off (as friends or potential more than friends) then its weird to ask for their number without a direct purpose (like you're talking about doing something and they want to hangout with you and your friends or whatever)
