I'm going to let you in on a little secret. There isn't any non-sociopathic straight male on earth that hasn't met a few women who leaves him paralyzed with adoration. This is normal to a point. Just don't assume you should be completely emotionless around women. That's the best part about dating is letting go with someone and them being totally fine with you anyway.

In my experience, shy foreign girls are the group most receptive to you simply saying "I really liked kissing you last time - I'm going to kiss you again". And then you go and do it.

You'll get better at this with experience. After you put a few girls on a pedestal and then later find out that they're not all that great, you'll learn to stop doing it as much.

In my experience, the Pedestal Effect is a symptom of not valuing yourself highly enough. You might consider taking this question to a broader level than seduction in your self-examination. Are there things about yourself you don't like? Focus on fixing them or accepting them.

Then you'll never feel like a woman is too good for you because nothing is too good for you. And you'll never feel like a job is too cool or an opportunity too big, either.
