I don't know how it is where you come from. Public transit in different countries can be a mayor difference.

I personally come from the Netherlands, I always like to talk to people and most of the times they appreciate it. just sit anywhere, near the girl you like if possible and if you have eye contact just say "Hi" or "Hey" if she says hi back, go, What are you reading? what music are you listening too? where are you going?

and just pick up from there. once the first words have been exchanged the hardest part have been done.

Also: make friends. Not only will it help you to approach girls, it is always nice to have a circle of friends to hang with.

So don't restrict your approaches to just girls that you are attracted to. Talk to everyone. It will help your conversational skills and you might find some cool people to hang out with.

... and it goes on. And while you're talking, sit down next to her. But walk away if she seems uninterested.

I attempt train game today. It WAS weird. Just be present and use the situation around you. I realized the next stop had a line that was closed for repairs, so I asked her about it. She looked at me, smiled, and I ejected because I was feeling shitty today.

I still tried.

Honestly, trains are pretty fucking weird to game on, it just never feels "right" and it will be hard to get comfortable and to get her comfortable, especially if you're shy.

The more important reason for trains is that it will break the interaction suddenly, which means that it's hard to even #-close even if you would have.

At school (assuming university, hard to tell but not really important) it's just basic day game, university environments being one of the most common, for which there is already a metric shit ton of advice.
