OK, I will take the opposite approach to this. While I know there are plenty of shit tests out there, I don't see this as a shit test.

Here's why. 2 principles:

seduction is about creating attraction
the process of seduction in a way, is all about escalation, escalation, escalation, if you think about from the time you first see a girl that you find attractive, to the time you are both naked doing the you know what it's all one continued escalation.

So, no matter what she says if she doesn't give you her phone number, it's your fault since you either didn't create enough attraction or you asked prematurely which is actually the same thing.

In broad stroke, as a general rule, that's what I do when I meet someone new:

qualify her: is this someone I am attracted to besides physically?
gather her interest, generate attraction, engaging her into conversation about things we might have in common, things about her that are interesting to me, things about me that are interesting to her, the surroundings... something.
THEN in the middle of a conversation I have to go. I have to go to another party, helping a friend, a date, whatever, it doesn't matter. Of course I do this once I am sure I've generated enough attraction, then I say something That was a great conversation, too bad I have to go... and I leave it up in the air for a few seconds. At times she takes the bait and suggest something like we should continue or let's exchange phone numbers or... whatever. There's no rule, at times It happens, at times it doesn't. At times she takes the bait and I play hard to catch.....

All these posts are clever and funny, but uhhh this shouldn't be happening in the first place.

You built enough attraction to keep her talking to you, but not enough to get her number? Unlikely, it sounds like you're building comfort before attraction (this is ok in night game). Or just not building enough attraction, who knows.

Work on your flirting/banter/kino or sexual tension. Fuck it do both.

you can just ask "why" and she'll either give you a BS excuse which you can charm your way around, or she just isn't available. when a girl says this I wont be too bothered if she doesn't give it because you can normally tell for yourself whether you haven't attracted her enough, or if it's likely that even if you do get her number chances of her being up for meeting you are low

If it were me I would: smile, play it off, end the conversation politely and continue on my way. Two possibilities: I call her bluff and she stops me to give me her number or she walks away because she isn't interested. Either way it is a win.

I don't usually experience this cause the people (women) i talk to actually genuinely want to give me their number. If they don't want to give you their number, it's because you have "done something wrong" previously in the interaction.

So what you do is: Ignore her statement, keep talking, focus on building more rapport and making her interested in you, then tell her to give you her number again.

Say something like "Ey! Give me your number so we can meet up later". Remember, don't ask for it as it makes you come off as "needing" to meet up with her again. If you tell her to give it to you, it implies that she needs to give it to you for hers sake.

I'm a bit tired but i think that i got my point through.
