So some guy posted a little story about how he told a girl to shit-test some guy with the "I'm pretty drunk" line and it brought back painful memories of my most recent Outing.

I had been out at a bar to see my friend Tom's band play and this girl we knew named Trish showed up and she had brought a few of her friends from back home along. This group had come up to visit her for awhile and me and Tom and I had hung out with them a few times before .

So Tom is playing his set and I'm shooting the shit with one of the girls Kylie. Kylie's pretty cute and I had been running a little bit of game on her the last few times we met, but as the beer continued flowing I decided to up my game.

I start talking with them about how their day had been downtown, what sites they had gone to and what not, then I start playing with an elastic on Kylie's wrist.

After establishing some light kino by playing with her wrists I grab her hands and tell her I'm going to show her something. I do a palm reading routine on her and it's an instant hit, everyone in the group starts asking me to do read their palms guys included.

After this the group starts taking photos, I make sure to be very present in all of these and half the time both Kylie and Trish were hugging me pretty closely and I continue to establish Kino with Kylie by just being comfortable holding her close during photos and lingering for a bit after each opportunity.

So Tom finishes his set and we tell Trish and their crew that we are heading out. Kylie runs up and tells me that they are going to grab drinks at Trish's place after If I want to join, I write my number down on a receipt and give it to her.

Me and Tom go and grab some food and Tom drops me off at my place. Within a half-hour I get a text from Tom saying "Trish want's you're number because 'Kylie wants IceCream' and I tell him to give it to them. Another five minutes pass and I get a text from Kylie telling me where Trish lives.

I show up and the atmosphere is very chill no one is partying too hard but we're all just hanging out drinking and relaxing. I sit next to Kylie and do some more kino grabbing her legs and leaning next to her and she is returning all kino.

Okay so here is where I most certainly fucked up. Me and Kylie go outside to smoke a cigarette and we start making out. Towards the end of our makeout sesh I invite her over to my place for the night and she responded "maybe." We make out for a little after this then are beckoned back inside.

We go back inside and finish our drinks and everyone else goes to bed. Me and Kylie grab some more beers and then make out on the couch for a minute and then she says to me "You know I'm not going to have sex with you right?" To which I responded quite playfully "Who said I was going to have sex with YOU?" and we made out for a little while longer and she finally stops and says "I'm too drunk for this right now."

I'm well aware this was a shit-test, A.) because she just grabbed another beer, and B.) because Girls who are too drunk to make those decisions rarely say they're too drunk to make those decisions, but I couldn't think of any non-rapey way to call her out about it. I drew a total blank and just said "Oh, well I guess I should leave." I grabbed my things and headed out the door, she apologized a few times and told me to have a nice night.

My current Take-aways: I definitely feel like I tried to progress too quickly to the seduction part of the pickup. The making out was okay but I should definitely not have suggested we go to my place so early in the evening as i skipped some valuable comfort building that could have occurred between that session and the end of the night. I also had no clue how to deal with the "Too Drunk" Test. I have no desire to take advantage of a girl who is intoxicated but at the same time I feel like a girl saying she is too drunk is probably a shit test, and I would like to know some ways to approach this situation so as to pick out and diffuse the shit tests when they happen.
