I know this may not be the correct place to post this, but I need the advice of older men who have lost their fathers.

Today I have just lost my father and for me this was a big hit. I cannot show sadness as my little brother, mother and grandparents now depend on me. I was really close with my dad, asking him on notions of manhood, we did stuff together and I though he was the best dad ever. I am afraid that under this new added pressure of looking after my family, and being sad over my fathers death will make me crack. I am not sure if I am allowed to laugh, talk to girls anymore, or have fun because it feels like it will be blasphemy to his memory. Will everything I have done over the months go to waste to try to become a better man? Is there a way to still move forward for me?

I am not sure what to do? Does the seddit community have anything to help me with?
