Isn't it amazing how much we censor our wants, needs and thoughts? Sure, there are times when you're better off just keeping your mouth shut, and I think we all know when those times are.
But just when you're talking to your friends, potential new friends, an acquaintance, a potential lover (or maybe just a potential orgasm vessel), etc. Why do people always try to mask what they really want? Or even completely act like they don't want anything?
For example, a group of people decide to go out to eat. One guy is asked "what do you want to eat?" instead of saying he wants Chinese, he says "Anything works for me." the group goes to a pizza place, the guy acts kind of irritable all night because he didn't get what he wanted, but he's at fault for not saying what he wanted. If the dude would have just said what he wanted, odds are good he would've gotten it, and at worst him and his friends compromise on something they all like and his voice is heard.
So, tying this back into the game. Ever wonder why people get "friend-zoned"? It's because they don't pursue what they really want, they aren't honest with the woman or themselves. If you're open, the worst that happens is "No." and at least you had a chance, and maybe still do. But by trying to sneak around by infiltrating the friendly category, you're only shooting yourself in the foot. Not to mention, this "friendship" is doomed from the start because one person is infatuated with the other, and the other is none the wiser, the relationship is founded on deceit. In layman's terms, the guy is a pussy, be direct.
By beating around the bush you aren't getting anywhere. Here's a real life example that happened a few weeks ago. There was a fella who was beating around the bush with a girl. He was teasing her, saying he'd pay her to make out with other people, etc. But he wasn't kinoing, he wasn't just getting to the point with her, that he wanted to do something with her, in fact, if you hadn't known the guy, you'd never guess he was into her. She sat down by me and we started talking, I could hear the one dude talking to his pals about how he wishes he could just touch her breasts. Admittedly I was being kind of a dick because I really wasn't that into her, but just to piss him off and make a point to him that he needs to take action. While talking to her I reached over, and grabbed her tit, she smiled, reached down and grabbed my junk. A few minutes later we found a secluded area and fooled around a bit. The guy was outside crying when we were done. Again, don't be a pussy, be direct.
Obviously there is a time and place for that behavior. You don't go up to a stranger and grab her breasts, you don't do that in a coffee shop. Rather in those situations you find a way to get into a situation to get what you want and if you get rejected, oh well.
This doesn't just apply to pickup. This applies to everything, the waiter gets your order wrong, if the cashier isn't paying attention, if you got an unfair grade, if you deserve a raise or anything of that nature, do something about it! Go get what you want, fantasizing or trying to slowly sneak something out of somebody won't get you anywhere.
TL;DR: You want something? Do something about it. Don't pussyfoot around.
