So pretty much the girl I have been seeing and talking to just told me she is getting back together with her ex, who she said was manipulative and sounded like she had some obvious unresolved problems with him. My thinking is that she was never really ready to take the step forward with someone new, but I'm all for hanging out with her as often as she wants because I think she is awesome. She never really seemed to give me a serious chance. I don't think it was that she wasn't interested, but instead that she was just having some trouble moving forward. For me I know that I would love to get back with m ex, but I never will because I won't take that step back.

Anything I can text her to make her think about this a little more? I just want her to give a serious effort to moving forward, because I'm pretty sure shit is not going to work out between she and the ex. She might be too afraid to take a step back and then move forward, so she is doing what is easiest. I'm pretty sure I can't say anything, but when you have feelings for someone it's tough to see them give up on anything, especially you. Honestly, if she had given it a serious effort and still felt the same, I wouldn't have cared, but she took the step back before she even took the step forward.
